Aberje gathers professionals at Web Summit 2022
Aberje was again present at the Web Summit, the most significant innovation and technology event in Europe. The association was represented by Victor Henrique Pereira, Manager of Institutional and International Affairs at Aberje. In addition to the coverage of the main discussions and trends addressed at the event, Aberje brought together its network of communicators who participated in the Web Summit or live in Lisbon in two international meetings.
On October 31, in partnership with APCE – Portuguese Association for Business Communication, Aberje held a meeting with Diogo Moura, City Council of Culture, Education, Economy and Innovation of Lisbon City Council. On November 3, communication professionals attended a networking dinner and discussed the main trends detected during the Web Summit.
“It is gratifying to bring together professionals from associated companies in Lisbon, as well as advisors and partners from Aberje who live in the city. These meetings, which take place in a very organic way, show that the value of the Aberje network has long gone beyond borders”, says Pereira.
SPECIAL REPORT
In partnership with associate Brivia, Aberje is currently producing a special report on the Web Summit. The report will be distributed exclusively to members in November after a discussion round that should occur by the end of the month. “The event has the feature of presenting new trends and bringing the status of each front of evolution of technology and communication. Last year, for example, while we were still learning about the change of name from Facebook to Meta, we also heard the company’s own CPO (Chief Product Officer), Chris Cox, be asked about security in the metaverse. This issue appears to be extremely relevant to the Web Summit’s audience,” says Pereira.
