Issue 110 explores the latest edition of Economic Analysis, a publication by Aberje’s Center for Economic Studies and Applied Communication Analysis (CEAEC). The study examines the seven editions of the Organizational Communication Trends Survey conducted between 2020 and 2026, identifying how the profession’s priorities have evolved. Among its key findings are the consolidation of communication as a strategic function supporting decision-making, the permanent integration of topics such as artificial intelligence, governance, and stakeholder intelligence into corporate agendas, the growing pressure to demonstrate business impact, and the increasing importance of interpreting complex environments.

The newsletter also showcases initiatives led by Aberje members and sponsor members. Highlights include Fiat’s 50th anniversary celebration, designed around a stakeholder engagement strategy. Hamilton dos Santos, Aberje’s CEO, attended the event and was welcomed by João Veloso, Vice President of Communications at sponsor member Stellantis. The issue also features the Web Summit Rio 2026 Special Report, which examines the impact of artificial intelligence on corporate communication; the achievements of Brazilian member companies recognized at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026; and the launch of the Global Communications Intelligence Pulse 2026, a survey promoted by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management in partnership with Caliber.

The publication also features “Fragmented Legitimacy”, an article by Victor Pereira, Aberje’s Institutional and International Relations Manager, published in Problemas Brasileiros, a magazine produced by Aberje member FecomercioSP. The article examines how changes in today’s communication environment are reshaping the ways organizations earn social recognition. It argues that legitimacy is no longer a stable attribute but an ongoing process of construction, reinforcing the strategic importance of corporate communication.

Aimed at communication, institutional relations, and public affairs professionals around the world, BRpr offers a monthly selection of research, analysis, events, and initiatives, providing an international perspective on the ongoing transformation of corporate communication in Brazil.
