LLYC announces Daniele Lua as Executive Director of Rio de Janeiro office
LLYC (Llorente y Cuenca), the global communications and public affairs consultancy, announces the arrival of Daniele Lua as the new Executive Director in Rio de Janeiro. With 22 years of experience in Communication, Daniele Lua takes over the coordination of the local office and customer service of LLYC in the Rio market.
Her arrival drives the company’s strategy of strengthening and expanding its operations in Rio de Janeiro, the first market where LLYC began its activities in Brazil 11 years ago. Currently, the company also has a strong growth operation in São Paulo, totaling more than 70 professionals in both offices.
“Brazil is already LLYC’s second-largest operation in the world, out of 16 offices and 13 countries. The arrival of an executive of the size of Daniele Lua reinforces our position in a strategic market and strengthens us to continue betting on Rio and Brazil,” says Cleber Martins, partner and CEO of LLYC in Brazil.
Before joining LLYC, she was the managing partner of Máquina Cohn & Wolfe in Rio. Most recently, Lua was in charge of external and internal communication at the UFRJ Technology Park, with involvement in entrepreneurship and innovation projects.
“LLYC has plenty of room to move forward in Rio, as a company that brings a new look, with distinctive, sophisticated, and disruptive services and projects,” says Daniele Lua.
