After two years in Portugal, advertiser Diego Tórgo has entered BriviaDez to assume the role of Head of Creativity. In his 17 years of experience, the professional worked in the creation of campaigns for major national and international brands, such as Nivea, Walmart, AB InBev, Volkswagen, Lojas Renner, Uber, the Portuguese Lactogal, and the Angolan Unitel.
But it’s not just the big brands that set Tórgo’s work apart. The professional has been awarded in regional, national and international advertising festivals, such as Cannes Lions, New York Festival, Epica Awards, Lusophone Awards, and Brazil Columnists.
Graduated in Advertising from PUCRS, Tórgo has worked at e21, Competence, and Paim. “Art Direction is my number one expertise. Design, with a greater focus on identities, and branding, were also fields that I always explored a lot,” he says. He will work alongside Giovanni Sartori, also Head of Creativity hired in February.
For Diego Tórgo, the best of the experience in Portugal was the contact with other cultures within the FCB network. “Working with Edson Athayde also stands out, as he is a reference in the Portuguese market. Advertising in Portugal is divided into before and after him,” he says.
