BB launches a pioneering solution for internal communication via smartwatch

In an innovative action in the Brazilian corporate segment, Banco do Brasil — an associate of Aberje — has made available its internal communication channel, the Agência de Notícias (News Agency), for smartwatches.
Available for Apple Watch devices and devices using Wear OS operating system, the functionality offers a dynamic and agile experience so that employees are well informed, anywhere, at any time, about BB matters.
It offers quick and easy access to news headlines published daily on the Banco do Brasil’s corporate intranet. “By combining day-to-day functionalities to resources, Banco do Brasil integrates its application for employees with the new digital behaviors and places the needs of the customer, more effectively, at the center of decisions,” says Giovanni Nobile, internal communication management manager from BB. In addition to dynamic reading, BB employees can install widgets on their smartphones. The project, developed by Banco do Brasil employees, is part of a strategic action that provides for the consolidation of mobile solutions for customers and employees.
