Aberje and McDonald’s reward young communication talents
Following the presentation of the 20 chosen works, the judging panel of the “Climbing the Future” project named the four winners of this competition created by Aberje sponsored by McDonald’s, which aims to find communication talents and good storytellers. The event awarded 23-year-old Déborah Ferreira, a student at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), with the project “McNews: Hunger for News”; João Pedro Aguiar, 19, an advertising student at the University of São Paulo (USP), with the project “McHistórias Fiction Trilogy”; Leonardo Adelino, 26, McDonald’s employee in Botucatu, with the project “My ‘forever’ first job”; and Vinicius da Silva, 22, a McDonald’s employee in Rio de Janeiro, with the project “From radio waves to the podosphere”. Each winner received $ 5,000.
The panel of judges was composed of Ligia Sato, Institutional Relations and Sustainability Manager at LATAM Airlines Brasil; Mariana Augusto dos Santos, Corporate Communications Manager at Arcos Dorados Brasil – McDonald’s; Fernando Palacios, Storytelling Specialist; and Hamilton dos Santos, General Director of Aberje. The 20 young people selected underwent a training immersion with creative writing mentors JP Cuenca; Andre Pill, on audiovisual; Marc Tawil, on project presentation; Edward Pimenta, on content production; Larissa Câmara, screenplay; and Fernando Palacios, storytelling. It was a full week of content at the University of Burger in Barueri in early September. In addition to the cash prize, the winners can be their projects produced and marketed.
