Ernst & Young appoints new CEO for Brazil
Ernst & Young (EY) has appointed Luiz Sérgio Vieira as the new CEO of its Brazilian operations. Vieira joined EY as a trainee 24 years ago and worked in the auditing department specializing in international taxes. After a transition process which started three years ago, Vieira, who currently serves as the Vice Chair of Markets, will succeed the present CEO Jorge Menegassi. With this promotion he will be the youngest CEO of the Big4, a group of the four largest consulting and auditing firms in the world. Vieira will officially take office on July 1st, 2016, when the company begins its fiscal year.
