Dow announces changes in the field of Public Affairs in Brazil

Helena Alonso took the lead in Corporate Communication for Brazil

Helena Alonso will be responsible for managing internal and external communication, consolidating the company’s reputation, and expanding the engagement of employees and stakeholders in the company’s actions and strategic leadership objectives in the country. Working in the Public Affairs area since 2010, she will continue to support the president for Latin America, Javier Constante, and as a focal point for crisis communications for Brazil. Helena will continue to report to Eleni Gritzapis, Communication Director for Latin America.
Eleni Gritzapis starts to lead efforts in the strategy and management of the institutional agenda coordinated between the countries where Dow is present in Latin America. With more than twenty years of strategic communication, crisis prevention and management for different markets and segments, Eleni joined Dow in 2012 as Communication Manager at Dow Agrosciences. In 2015, she moved to the Communication management of the Plastics area for Latin America, and two years later she was promoted to her current role.
