Global Alliance Announces First Speakers for WPRF 2026 in Nigeria
The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) have announced the first confirmed speakers for the Global Alliance World Public Relations Forum 2026 (WPRF), which will take place from 16–21 November 2026 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja, Nigeria. The event will be held concurrently with the 37th African Public Relations Association (APRA) Conference. The Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management is the global confederation of leading communication associations. Aberje is a member of the Global Alliance board.
Under the theme “Responsible Communication: The Voice of the World,” the forum will examine the role of strategic communication in building trust, strengthening leadership, fostering innovation, and advancing sustainable development in an increasingly interconnected global environment.
“Securing the privilege to host WPRF 2026 is a testament to Nigeria’s growing importance in the international public relations and communication landscape. It reflects the professionalism, leadership, and commitment of NIPR in advancing public relations practices across Africa and beyond,” said Justin Green, President and CEO of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.
Ike Neliaku, President of NIPR, also highlighted the organisation’s commitment to the event: “NIPR, working with the support of leading public relations stakeholders across Africa, is determined to deliver the best, biggest, and most impactful Global Alliance World Public Relations Forum ever held.”

The first confirmed speakers and guests include:
- Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of Nigeria and Chief Host;
- Hakainde Hichilema, President of Zambia and Keynote Speaker;
- Justin Green, President and CEO of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management, Dublin, Ireland;
- Melissa Fleming, United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications, New York, United States;
- Prita Kemal Gani, President of the ASEAN Public Relations Network, Jakarta, Indonesia;
- Samuel Heath, Director of Communications at INTERPOL, Lyon, France.
The WPRF 2026 programme will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, networking events, and debates on global trends and challenges in strategic communication.
