Geraldo Magella took the position of Head Global Brand and Corporate Communication of Votorantim Cimentos as of February 1st. The executive arrives at the company along with Marcelo Castelli, announced as new Global CEO.
Previously, Magella was Fibria’s Communication Manager, responsible for the company’s internal and external communication strategy, carrying out projects of great relevance such as “Nossa Casa tem Fibria” (“Our Home has Fibria”) and “A Floresta sob um novo prisma” (“The Forest under a new prism”).
Magella has more than 25 years of professional experience, working in communication vehicles and large companies. He worked in newspapers, magazines, and agencies. With a degree in Journalism from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and and MBA from USP, Magella also holds specialization courses in Corporate Communication at the Rotterdam School of Management, the Reuters Foundation and the University of Michigan.
