Edenred Brasil wins international PR SABRE award

Aberje associate Edenred is the winner of the SABRE Awards Latin America 2019 in the Financial and Professional Services category. With the case “Public Utility Service,” developed jointly with RPMA Comunicação – Aberje’s associated agency – the Group stood out for its work during the fuel crisis that affected the country in May 2018.

Edenred’s winning initiative involved the joint communication work of the Ticket Log and Ticket brands. Following the guidelines linked to the “We connect, you win” brand positioning, the group made available, in real-time, information from Ticket Log’s accredited gas stations that still had fuel available during the strike. Besides, Ticket released a survey that presented the impacts of the fuel crisis on food consumption and the employer-employee relationship. Finally, both brands came together for unprecedented research on the impacts of the crisis on Brazilian urban mobility.
The SABRE Awards, granted by The Holmes Report, is the world’s largest Public Relations award and aims to recognize brand-building performance and reputation in six regions: North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific, Latin America, South Asia, and Africa. “During the period, we were committed to making it possible to share publicly available information at our base to help the population during a sensitive time and to support journalists from all over Brazil with real-time information,” said Alaor Aguirre, Vice President of Edenred Brasil.
The judging committee brought together 28 industry professionals and elected cases in 41 categories.
