Ana Julião is appointed General Manager of Edelman Brasil
Edelman, the global communications agency, announced that Ana Julião had been named General Manager of the company in Brazil. After five years leading the Rio de Janeiro office, she now leads Edelman Brasil in its new phase. Ana is also at the helm of Zeno, part of the group Daniel J. Edelman.
“Ana Julião has an exceptional experience, agency business knowledge and a recognized track record as a leader,” says Allan McCrea Steele, CEO of Edelman Latin America. “I am confident that she will be a great partner for our customers and teams, contributing to the evolution of the company in the country.”
With 28 years of experience in corporate communication and journalism, Ana Julião began her career as a journalist, working in newsrooms such as O Globo, Folha de S. Paulo, and Jornal do Commercio. Before Edelman, she worked for 16 years at In Press Porter Novelli. Throughout his career, he has accumulated experience in different sectors, such as energy, finance, consumption, health, infrastructure, and telecom. “I am honored to lead Edelman, an agency that has values I believe in and a team of people who make me very proud,” says Ana Julião.
Ana Julião succeeds Martin Montoya in the leadership of Edelman Brasil.
